GUIDED TOURS
Adult/Family Tours
Tours of our heritage building and artifacts are great for locals and tourists alike. Individual guided tours are covered in the entrance fee.
For the 2023 season, we offer Connie’s Guided Tour: A Wee Historic Walk of Montague as outlined below.
A Wee Historic Walk of Montague
Join us for a wee historic walk of Montague. This approximately 2 km walk takes 1.0 hour (depending on how long we talk!) and there are some inclines for anyone with knee problems. We highlight some of Montague’s history on either side of the river close to the bridge.
An added bonus is that some of the businesses housed in buildings we visit are offering discounts to participants while on tour.
Beginning outside the Museum building, this walking tour will take place on Thursday mornings at 9:30am for July and August. Canceled if raining.
Please pre register at info@gardenofthegulfmuseum.ca as there is a number cap for the tour. Tour fee includes entrance to the Museum.
Note: The Historic Walks are now over for this 2023 season. See you next year!

School Classroom Events
The Garden of the Gulf Museum invites all teachers to sign up for a new in-classroom presentation this September and October. Can be adapted to all age groups. There is no fee for this experience, as we want to share our love of history with you and your students. However, a donation would be greatly appreciated.
Our presentation is by our Curator, Connie Spencer, is approximately one hour and touches quickly about our historic Museum building and then goes into a ‘guess what it is’ show and tell with artifacts from the Museum’s extensive collection. The children will also be given an opportunity to hold a few artifacts.
Please contact us if your school would be interested: 902-838-2467 (to Sept 15 Only) OR

Home-Schooled Children Tours
We offer tours for children who are home schooled accompanied by their parent(s). Prior booking is required for this small group offering. The cost for these tours is $5 for adults and children under the age of 12 are free!
Our Museum offers a wonderful experience for your child to learn about a Heritage Building and local Prince Edward Island history. We provide a full museum tour in which you can explore the three floors and take part in a museum event.
If you are interested in this program we ask that you please book with us at least a week in advance. Please book by calling (902)-838-2467.
