Our exhibit on harness racing here on PEI includes many artifacts and is sure to stir great memories amongst our older visitors. Did you know that the first starting gate in Canada was mainly used in Charlottetown but also used in different race tracks which included Montague and Riverside race tracks? Did you know that the first photo finish in Canada was recorded in Montague? Maybe you didn’t know we had races here!
